Corn-Extract  /  Cornmilk   / Maisextrakt / Maismilch–  6kg/15kg/25kg

So-called “Solubile Boilies”, produced with “corn extract” are soluble baits, which are very attractive to carp.

“Boilie-Benz Corn Extract” (our liquid is different to the so-called “corn steep liquor” or similar! ) is viscous, sweet/sticky, opaque/cloudy, color as fully ripe corn (dark yellow/slightly orange ), and smells a bit like corn popcorn.
These attributes mentioned above are essential if you want to receive our original product.

Our corn extract is NOT diluted (e.g. with milk or similar), so it is very viscous and concentrated.

It is only sold by Boilie-Benz, and is not available anywhere else, also not by any dealers or tackle shops.

The origin of this bait production, which is little known, was established in Romania, where “Solubile Boilies” have been fished with maximum success for many years.

Our liquid is delivered in a canister,

the content is approx. 6 / 15 / 25 kg.

Processing:

Corn extract has to be mixed with warm water in a 1:1 ratio (the requirement is approximately 200ml per kg of dry mix).

Typically, there is no urgently need for eggs to be added.

To improve the workability of the dough, you can (if you want) add about 2-3 eggs per kilogram of mix. We also can recommend adding some fish oil or similar (not very much, about 5-10 ml per kg of mix is easily enough).

If flavor is desired, please mix it into the liquid as usual. By the way, a little alcohol as a supplement is a top ingredient in the cold season…

After stirring the wet mixture, please add the dry mix, then mix/knead everything thoroughly.

The specification of approx. 200 ml of corn milk plus 200 ml (warm) water per kg of dry mix is of course not a fixed size. Some mixes need more liquid, other mixes need less liquid.

That’s why you should always mix the liquids first and after this add the dry mix. Do so until the dough has the right consistency.

After the balls have been rolled, they should be allowed to dry thoroughly for at least a week, preferably longer.

The solubility of the bait ultimately depends on the boilie mix and the external influences during later fishing (e.g. the water temperature / the prevailing current, etc.).

The longer you let the boilies dry, the more stable they will become.

After rolling only drying, but no cooking, is necessary.

Additional explanations:

The purpose of using and producing such baits is their gigantic attracting effect.

There is probably no fishing competition in the world that does not use this type of bait. However, this is not known, because it is not officially communicated.

Our Corn extract is sweet/sticky, yellowish/orange, and smells like corn.

“Solubile boilies” made with this corn liquid are a brilliant solution to attract carp to the site.

As bait they are unbeatable; no other bait can have such a high-quality attracting effect.

It is impossible to overfeed the spot, because the bait (depending on diameter etc.) will have dissolved after about 8-14 hours.

After fishing or feeding they immediately release their attractants by slowly dissolving from the outside.

They are highly soluble on the outside, but at the same time still hard on the inside. Due to the faster dissolving time, “Solubile Boilies” are usually only produced in larger diameters (from around 20 mm upwards).

Using such baits, much better ingredients can be processed individually, for example, which are much better in quality than simple pressed pellets.

Good ingredients, and also an added flavor, will have a much more effective effect in the water than they have in a conventional boilie.

Solubiles are not cooked and therefore remain 100% natural along with their ingredients.

A nice side effect is that an entire work process can be saved, and the usual unpleasant odors and moisture development during cooking are also eliminated.

A disadvantage, however, is the longer drying time required.

If you like to fish “instantly” you can’t use no better bait.

However, using them for hook baits on hair, Solubile boilies do not last as long as normally boiled boilies.

For longer sessions and fishing competitions, many experts alternatively fish with a boiled boilie at the rig, and  use the “solubile boilies” as lure bait around your hooked boilie.

Further tips or other applications:

– Production of soluble, conventionally cooked boilies:

Of course, you can also use a bit corn extract together with, for example, about 8 eggs per kg of mix, and then boil or steam your boilies as usual.

The corn liquid will influence the dissolution time of your bait after drying – depending on the amount you add – as you want. The more corn milk, the faster the boilie dissolves / the attracting effect increases

– No extra preservation at Solubiles

You don’t need an extra preservative for pure “Solubile Boilies”.

Solubiles rolled with corn extract typically will not go moldy.

This sticky/sweet, viscous ingredient naturally inhibits mold. Simply let the balls dry well and for a long time and store them in boxes or something similar.

However, the lid should be open to allow ventilation.

If handled or stored correctly, mold will not appear

– Boilie dips:

Corn extract is also very suitable for making boilie dips when it´s added to flavors.

– Pastes:

To make lock pastes (e.g. for feeders) simply mix/knead corn extract, a little warm water and the dry mix well.

This results in a top paste that dissolves very well, is extremely attractive and still lasts a long time!
